Default 2006 touring odyssey

When I lock my car with the remote my horn works intermittently and when it does it sometimes sound muffled. My car locks but not horn or lights. I tested my alarm and my panic button does not work when pushed on remote. I took it to the dealer and they reprogrammed both remotes that it seemed to worked, but I took it home and it still did not fix the problem. I took it back to the same dealer and this time I waited, they told me that it works now. I told them that there is something wrong because its working intermittently. They refused to even looked at it. I checked my settings to make sure that the horn is turned on when locking. What would be the cause of it working intermittently? My car is not secured when I lock it and my panic button is not working. All doors, hatch and hood are closed. Something is not right.

Possibly a problem with the multiplex integrated control unit (MICU) that is part of the under-dash fuse/relay box.

Thank you! I will mention this when I take it to another Dealer. I don't understand why the first dealer refuse to look at it. They claim to have looked at every possible cause and came up with nothing. I told them that I would leave it there as long as I have to and that I wanted it fix, There responses is that it works now, I told them not all the time! I know that they did not like me when I mentioned what could cause this. I got my info on different Honda Forums. I just want it fixed!!

The cause could also be due to the door multiplex control unit (mcu), as that is where the receiver is located for the remote.

I am not sure if the end cost vs. benefit of getting the alarm to work may be worth it to you though.
