0 to 60 in 6.1 and 1/4 mile in 14.8 but that requires a very good driver and a well broken in RSX-S.

SCC said in the article they were running in 100+ degree heat. It's no secret our car runs limp in hot weather.

I'm going from my own personal experience. The first time I went to the track with 700 miles I ran a 16.3 on my first run and a best of 15.4. A few months, 7,500 miles and many practices later I was able to run a 14.7 with only an intake, and I still think i can do better. So for someone to run a 14.8 stock I think is very feasible.

Actually I think Car and Driver got that time too when they first got an RSX to test. People were saying they got a type R or an RSX with a massaged engine, but thats only because some people that didnt know how to drive were running 15.5's and 7.0 seconds 0 to 60
