2000 accord ac indicator light
The ac indicator dash light is not working. The air recirculation and rear defroster lights work. The ac functions but the indicator light is out'
If there a light bulb or is the light integral to the havoc unit. If bulb--what bulb is needed and how you replace.
Thanks..

I've gotta replace a few tiny interior indicator bulbs soon too. Looks like number 1 here, p# 35851-SP1-901 Honda online store : 2000 accord heater control ('98-'00) parts
You'll have to remove the trim surrounding your stereo/ac control to get to it: remove the 2 screws from directly under it, use a small flat tool (not something that could scratch it) to pry out the clock (from the bottom) and disconnect it, remove the other screw behind the clock holding the stereo trim to the dash, then you can remove the whole trim panel itself, disconnect the ac/heat control connectors, and now you can access and remove the bulb from behind the ac control panel with a small flathead. Might have to tug a little the first time to get it out.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I looked at the diagram. It looks like the unit has two #1 bulbs. I assume on controls the heat/ac door controls . The other controls the ac/rear defroster, and recirculation button? Both the defroster and recirculation button light up when pushed--only the ac button does not. The actual ac works fine but I cannot tell if the ac is engaged without the light.
Is the bulb I need on the schematic you sent me??
Thanks Tom

Since I don't have your specific trim/# of doors etc. I just picked a 2000 accord dx auto, so just change it to your model if that's not it (most likely all the same though). Category electrical>>heater control. It's showing 3 of the number 1 bc it's the same bulb that's used for all of those indicators afaik.
