Default F22 auto trans to H23 auto trans

Is it necessary to swap my tcu if they are both automatic transmissions or if I don’t will it hurt my car? Anyone done this swap before have any experience with the performance of the h23 auto trans? Thanks

It would be in the front passenger footwell area after you pull back the carpet. As simple as swapping one out and another in. If you have a 96+ model you won't have a separate TCU though.
