White Smoke out of Throttle Body when cranking
Firstly I'm relatively new to working on cars so bare with me please
The car is a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback with the dpfi d15b2 automatic. My friend bought it as a project car, and we got it running but never really idled on its own, you had to feather the throttle to keep it alive. That same day we also drained the old gas before putting in new gas as it'd been sitting for 2 months according to the previous owner. Spark plug wires were taken off by my friend so I'm not entirely sure if the firing order on the wires is right on the distributor. We looked one up and went forward as well as the spark plugs were gapped to .04
When attempting to start the car it cranks fine but white smoke is blown out of the throttle body. Before this issue we changed out the spark plugs, wires and used throttle body cleaner as well as a little bit of gas cleaner with 2 gallons of fresh 87 in it. Since then the car just cranks and doesn't start but blows white smoke out the throttle body. I would appreciate any suggestions

okay lets see if we can get this car going again
heres the order the spark plug wires go

and on the engine side the number one wire is the one closest to the belts
then you just go in order down to the distributor soo 4-3-2-1
let me know how it goes

Also check all your sensor wires and connectors. ie MAP, TPS, IACV, IAT, Water Temp
And check and clean Grounds on Thermostat, Gearbox, Valve Cover
Pictures help as well

could very well be the firing order refer to post above about that. Also wanted to let you know to be careful using fuel additives such as sea foam because it is to be mixed as it says on the can like only a few caps per so many gallons or so and to much can cause issues. I mean most likely whatever you used is safe just wanted to warn you about that and it isn’t likely the problem
Thank you guys so much for the suggestions, I don't see my friend or the car until the weekends due to school so this upcoming Saturday/Sunday we will be working on the car l, I will try what you guys have instructed me and I'll keep you guys posted! Thanks again
