I just recently joined the forum. Late last year I bought a 1991 CRX DX in a very clean and totally stock condition. Have always liked these cars, but had no idea how much fun these cars are. I have already started changing out worn/broken parts. My intention is to slowly do a Resto-Mod on this car. It is my daily driver for my 120 mile round trip commute, so the work will be done around the work schedule. I do have a secondary car (2007 Jeep Wrangler) for the down times. Recently I blew the head gasket and am contemplating either fixing the existing (D15B2) engine or going for a full swap to a B18 or B20 engine/tranny combo. Diveability, Reliability and Ca SMOG compatibility are all major factors. I have already started a thread on this, so any feedback or suggestions from the Honda veterans (I am new to the Honda world) is much appreciated.

I am an Aerospace Engineer, and my work day (including commute time) can easily turn into a 12 hour day, so, I will have to do a combination of DIY and Local Shop help work to get the car to where I want it. I live in Tehachapi, Ca, so if you are close to me let me know.
