How to stop coolant leak after new installed connection Pipe?
I swapped connection Pipe of my Accord 1991 EXI MT5, but after refilling coolant I saw leaking from Thermostat End of the installed pipe, I wonder to know why and how to stop its leaking& if there would be any difference between Japanese Origin as mine is, with the American Manufacturer in forming of the Pipe shape ? I guess the end connecting to T/S may not have proper position or direction to be in line with the T/S can it be a reason for such cause?
meanwhile I applied grease ( general purpose ) on both pipe ends to ease shoving into W/P & T/S . is applied grease safe for O-Rings? or should I use Dielectric Grease on the O-Rings instead ?
Question is how to fix the leak ? can I wrap the O-Ring with pipe sealing tape ?
any comment ?
Thanks.

is it safe to assume you're using a new oring or the same one ? the water pipes should be the same, if you're using a new oring you might just need another pipe or you can try loosening up the bolt that holds the pipe onto the block and try adjusting it
Thanks, yes I used the new pipe and its O-Rings , also I 've loosen the the holding bolt at the Block , even I rechecked the process by dismantling the T/S assy last evening and wrapped around the end of Pipe beneath of the T/S O-Ring with water pipe sealing tape to support the OI-Ring & prevent it from being flatten under shoving process, result seemed OK , and trace of leak from around Pipe connection to the T/S Housing at next morning check was almost dry, how ever still there been significant leakage spot seen under the car I checked all connecting hoses above the drip area but could not figure where from the leak is formed. will check again this afternoon. Thanks for your hint & comment.
Good luck
Good luck
I'm sorry, but I can not tell if you are using a new water pipe oring, pictured in part 19 in this illustration.

the thermostat has its own gasket in addition to part 19

Thanks holmesnmanny, thanks for your dedicated time & hints, in fact the new connecting pipe has its own O-Rings with, thus I used them and seems all in order,
