I'm not having much luck finding a decent trunk lid to replace my old one, with its hack job spoiler installation and holes drilled in several places. I thought I would ditch the spoiler, clean the holes, and fill/paint them for the time being - it won't look very pretty, but it will be better, and it will solve several leaks in the trunk.

I know nothing about body work, so I'm asking what compound I should use for filling, sanding, and painting over these holes.
