In the August 2001 issue of Super Street, there's a '99 civic si with a fully built B18c5 in it. It sounds like it's fast as hell though, no quarter mile times, but it is layin' down 202.4 hp to the ground and a whopping 134.8 lb-ft to the ground. What ever you decide good luck!

I hope it's not that 96-98 EX they were advertising on e-bay awhile back as a 99 si. This one didn't have an engine either, which make me wonder if it is the same one.

It'll be as fast a a stock Type R. maybe a little faster. What makes you think it will fly?

for the 5000$+ your gonna spend getting that running
just put a b16 back in and turbocharge it
it will beat the r swap.

So you think that is a viable route to procede upon?

Maybe a t3/t04e?? Or would a t25 off a DSM be sufficient?

I know underratedSi has this swap in his 99 Si. I know that he loves it, but at times he wishes he would have kept the b16 and boosted it. Hit him up he might sell you his B-16 that he has with little miles

3300 installed? Do yourself a favor and run the numbers off the block thru some VIN checker. Otherwise, congrats and enjoy. BTW, the motor must also be a 99+ to be legal.

I 2 have the same set up in my 00.If the motor you get is in good shape, then its a great deal at that price!on the other hand if you want less reliablity and more power go the same rout and get it for 3300 and put the other 3 k back in it and tune it up!!!!im sure its good for 200 hp. HTH...
