jun flywheel
I've done a search and read up on some of the flywheels, but i havent see anything about JUN. They're pretty hardcore, but i'd like to get some first hand responses from people who have had experience with them...
These also cant be resurfaced because of the forged chromoly steel. What are the advantages/disadvantages of this vs. aluminum?
oh yeah, will it affect gas milage?? i guess i'd probably tend to rev higher everyday...
tia, any help would do

i dunno exactly what ur lookin for but i got one. first thing is it revs a whole lot faster. second is the revs drop alot faster. does it make the car faster??? thats debatable but i put my flywheel in at the same time as my cams so its too tough to say. i still got it in the car and its been ran on the street for over a yr and just track driven for 1 race season.
The JUN Ultralight is the way to go. I've had mine over 2 years now, and when I pulled the motor out, it looked to be in really good shape. I've streetraced, dragged, SCCA, you name it... beat that motor to hell and back. Still the fly wheel is in amazing shape. I love the free revving it provides, and also the power gains. Yes, by having a lighter flywheel you do gain power, there was a formula that one of my friends had.... said for every lb off the flywheel it equates to 20 lb on the car (or something like that) So JUN Ultralight is about 9.5 lbs, stock is about 17... you can figure that out. But if you're in the market for a new flywheel and want to get the best... JUN is your answer.
Note: I've seen some other flywheels out that have a lighter weight (claimed) and also have replaceable mating surfaces... you might want to check into those as well. They would work well with a US starter, where as JUN likes the JDM one.

well I did have some pics here... where is a good place to host the images for free? I have a freeservers account, but they won't let me link unless I pay... not worth it.
