Getting ready for my rsx type s swap into a dc4. Here' is the fuel tank

 

All of the California legal swaps I've seen so far, they have put the rsx tank in the back of the car. I didn't want to have the tank inside my car so I modified the integra tank with all the rsx smog ports and returnless fuel pump module

 

Got the rsx cluster installed and the steering column with immobilizer and all the rsx components

I didn't use the steering column and cluster because I had to, I used them as I wanted to keep the immobilizer key. I used all of the wiring from the RSX Type S in my Integra. I talked to the ref before I started the swap and he told me that I could use the Integra tank and modify it as long as it had all the smog devices that the RSX tank has. The swapped car has to run all monitors as the RSX did and have all the smog devices as the RSX. This all so includes stock intake, stock exhaust to the converter, stock no return fuel system, stock evap system and all stock sensors and ecu for the RSX. The car is required to run all monitors and have no check engine light on. I was told that I have to take my car to Acura and have them verify that the ecu has the correct calibration for the RSX that the engine is from. Aftermarket parts with E.O. numbers for the RSX are ok

 

Almost done, still need cat, exhaust, rims, tires and a trip to the ref

 

How are you going to get the exhaust manifold to fit? If you need the oem exhaust manifold and cat I still have mine.

 

An '04-07 TSX manifold and cat will likely fit the best in a swap application although it will hang down a bit low... so can you modify it slightly to tuck the cat up closer to the center tunnel ???

 

I'm very interested in how you adapted the fuel system to fit the RSX's returnless system. Did you retain both the send and return lines, but only utilized the send? I'm doing a BAR-legal K20 swap in the future and this information will definately help plan it out. My local ref hasn't ever checked a K-Swap yet, so he's interested in how it's going to turn out
