Are all 1ST. generation CRV automatic Transmitions interchangable. 1998 in to a 2000. does the overdrive lock buton matter or is it handled by the computer.

 

Can anyone tell me what modifications are required to make a M4TA transmission from a 1998 CRV work properly in a 2000 CRV with a MDMA transmission which is slipping. I have both complete cars and wish to swap the good 1998 into the 2000.
