Default What are the possibilities?: USB (or similar) connections in CRV for Dashcam use

i was wondering if anybody has asked the question as to why / or can there be a USB outlet installed up on the windshield behind the mirror so you could plug ina DashCam. That way the cord is not hanging down over the dash. I think the the DashCam should be become a built in option in the higher end models. Having a USB outlet would be a start in the rear view mirror area would be a start.

No. No one has asked that for a rear view mirror. Most get a dash cam and wire directly to a power source using a USB converted cord, (or a microusb /USB-Type C) to use as a power/ground source. That's all one needs.

Honda will not put one in that location as a standard for its market due to the sheer low number of people using a dashcam that often. Now , if you're in Russia, different story.
