Default G2 Teg Killing ECU's

I have a 92 integra with a B16 in it. I had the common passenger side floor leak a few years ago and the car wasn't being used at the time so it got a decent amount of water inside it. I went to drive it one day and the ECU was dead (large cap blown) I figured it shorted out so I bought a replacement. The car started and ran but after about 5 minutes of running it killed the ECU again. Life got in the way and the car sat so fastforward to today and I've finally got a chance to look into it. I bought a chipped ECU and it had a CEL but the car ran (enough to move it to the driveway for a house project) the car sat there for 2 weeks and when I went to move it back it wouldn't start and I'm suspecting ECU is dead again.

I'm lost as to where to start troubleshooting this one. What sensors/circuits have power when the key is off (just battery power). I believe it has to be one of these circuits causing the issue.

Thanks in advance

yeah I'm not sure how your link helps me out none of those have issues with blowing capacitors in ecus or killing them and diagnosing but maybe I'm missing something

You basically have to switch out the wiring harness that goes to the ECU. It would take a miracle after a flood like that to individually pin and diagnose something to that effect, my friend. You're really SOL. You're just going to continue to destroy ECUs. I'd stop beating your own ECU (Brain) against the wall and look towards the harness.

so you're saying it's probably a short due to corrosion in the harness provably? Which would make sense either the ECU harness or the VAFC connection into the harness. I was looking at new harnesses already.
