Default Dyno

I have seen some dyno results for Integra GSR's and most of them top at around 150hp. Arent they suppose to be 175hp????
Please dont flame me if the answer is really simple

no its 170hp at the flywheel and 180 for a jdm gsr at the flywheel.

aha at the flywheel
so do all cars measure their hp at the flywheel or does just honda do that

generally, when you read a commercial car mag (R&T, C&D, etc) they quote #'s at the flywheel. In most perf related forums, and sometimes more performance related mags (Grassroots and SCC) you will see hp quoted "at the wheels" or what a dyno would record. To get to the flywheel # from the dyno #, just multiply by 1.15-1.20....there is some variation here. Different cars record different losses in the driveline etc...
