Default honda civic radio harness

I have a 2002 civic
i am changing out the stock radio
after isolating the speaker wires
i am left with 5 wires
black which is the ground
yellow with red strip which is the ignition wire
red with black strip which gets hot when the parking lights on
white with red strip - undetermined but not hot
solid red undetermined but not hot
I have no hot battery lead
what should I do or check?

Get an aftermarket radio adapter harness and be done with. If you can't afford a $10 wire harness, you shouldn't be messing with cars in the first place.

This.

Put the harness back together. (with flux, solder and heat shrink. not with butt connectors or electrical tape. OR re-pin the connector)

Then, spend the $3 for a Metra 70-1721 adapter.

It's 'painting by number' from there.
