2000 Acura integra
Hey guys I’m jonthan I own a 2000 Acura integra LS which was supposed to have a b18b but I have swapped the motor to a b20b high comp as (last year). As I got more interested in these cars I want to to know if I should go back to my b18b and turbo it or do a all motor built . Bottom line is I wanna tune my car with in my budget at about 300 dollars a week . The b20b pulls harder but I’ve heard a lot of negative things about it . I wanna know what is legal and illegal to do to my car . It’s running on the stock ecu and harness from my b18b . Or is there vtec motors that I can put in it and still pass smog ? Let me know what mods will increase my hp to thanks guys !
Save the money and keep the b20. Find a good tuner.
To safely turbo. I'd keep a savings of around 2 grand at least before you start. Make sure everything else is mechanically sound though.
Smog varies depending on location. Pretty much anything is not legal though. Just fyi, at least here in CA

I agree with SpiderX...Pretty much, nothing is legal in CA.
Make sure that everything you buy has CARB stamped on it, or you'll fail the visual emission inspection.

375 crank HP might be possible on your b20, with great tuning and supporting mods, but 375 wheel hp on the stock b20 sleeves is probably not going to be too reliable. for a safe 375whp you are going to want forged rods/pistons in your b18 block, but you live in comiefornia, so good luck lol.
