2012 civic exhaust fit on the sedan model and coupe model the same?

want to buy a cat back exhaust from a friend that took it off his 2012 civic sedan would it bolt right onto my 2012 civic coupe?

Not likely, The sedan has a longer wheelbase and as such a gap would exist.

do you think it would just stick out further? casue i have no problem with an inch or 2 sticking out more

no the mid pipe would be long. as in where it curves. it wouldn't route the same and stick completely under the car
