2013 Crosstour V6. Keyless entry. Occasionally car has battery drain. Starts easily with jump and will be fine for perhaps a day or two. Battery tests fine. Mechanic suggested alternator but I really doubt it as it runs fine after jump. Is there a relay that could be kicking on and draining the battery? Thanks!

Your "mechanic" sounds like an idiot.


A new mechanic and a parasitic draw test is needed.....in that order.

 

i took a leap of faith and replaced the A/C relay, (It was like $6.50) So far-so good.
