Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to the Honda-tech scene. Have referenced to this site plenty of times in the past but this is my first time to ever register.

Just trying to to get some information on converting 4-luv to 5 lug on both sides of the car. I have a 94 accord LX with rear drums. I’ve found a few forums that specify what to do to convert to the 5 lug. My problem is that i purchased this vehicle in project form - it’s not running at the moment. And I bought it with a leak in the brake proportioning valve.

Headache ive had dealing with that part especially with small use of tools. But I managed to get all the nuts loose and just need to get one last brake line to get the whole valve off from underneath the car.

So before I do take it off and replace it with one that I got from the junk yard my question is do I have to REPLACE it with a different one for the 5-luv conversion or does it matter which valve I use ?

It would suck to get the valve replaced now (with the same one) and then have to get back down there and replace it AGAIN with a different one for the 5-luv conversion.

anyone that has experience with these conversions your thoughts and comments would be extremely appreciated!!

 

If you are going to replace it, and convert to 5lug disc, I would suggest using a prop valve from an LX w/rear disc or EX
