I just installed front brake pads from the Honda parts dealership on my Honda Civic Sedan 2012 LX. When I went to install the brake pads on my driver side, one of the brake pads is missing the Missing V spring clip holes.

On the passenger side, I discovered the two V spring clip holes on each brake pad. Is that driver brake pad a defective part? I am just wondering if anyone has seen this before.I will go back to Honda's dealership and inform them about this problem. Thank you.
