Default B18C1 misfire cyl 1... I’m lost

Hello,

I need some serious help. I am losing my mind. I have a completely stock b18c1. About 5 months ago took the head off and replaced my valve stem seals. Integra has been running fantastic, all until last week...

I am having a misfire on cylinder 1, and I don’t know what the hell to do next, because it’s still happening.

When I pull the plugs connecting to my fuel injectors cyl 1 doesn’t change

heres what I’ve done:
- replaced spark plugs
- checked continuity of spark plug wires (all good)
- replaced cap and rotor
- replaced ignition coil
- replaced cyl 1 injector with known good injector (cleaned)
- made sure oil levels are good

** I did a shakedown of my wires and there are no changes... I was told it could be a short but I’m curious if there’s anything else I could try before getting into wiring...

The confusing part is the misfire CEL goes away when I rev to 3K, then comes back on at idle. When I pull map sensor all is good, but I obviously can’t run it like that.

This is my daily and I’m at a total loss.

Is the injector pulsing? Getting power? Is it clicking?

Compression good in #1?

Try another Ecu, p28, p06 even, see if that fires #1.

Longshot, all grounds present? #1 being furthest from everything.

Do a compression check or better, leak down test on it. Just to rule out the mechanical side.

When I cleaned the replacement and the one I had in there already both clicked to 9 volt. When I pull the injector plug on 1 theres no change, but the other 3 do. I don’t think switching the injector with another like 1-4 to see if it follows will help if I replace it with a known good one.

I haven’t done a compression or leakdown test yet, but I think I need to.

I will try another ECU. See it that does anything. As far as grounds I’ll definitly check, I haven’t done that yet.

Thanks for your response btw!

i had had a similar problem couple years ago but it was the igniter. I just bought a new distributor so not exact but I’ve also had a bad ecu before too do some crazy stuff. An extra ecu lying around is always good.
