2002 Honda Civic Si. I installed Tein SS coilovers and installed new Duralast ball joints however there is still a lot of play in the ball joint. Any suggestions?

Do you mean tie rod ends? Ball joints don't go into the struts.

Did you buy or recieve a coilover set for a RSX?

You can use RSX tie rod ends if you messed up and ordered the wrong coilovers.

Or....

Do your stock tie rods fit fine?

Why did you buy tie rods? Are you sure you bought ones for the correct year and model of car?

One of the parts you bought are probably for the wrong car.

Tein SS are ancient AF...so I'm assuming you bought them used. Did you ask the seller what tie rod he was using? Have you looked at the coilover part number to see what type of car they are for?

 

ball joints are not something you want to go to Autozone for, I tried one time and the ball joint was so big the backing plate was constantly rubbing on it
