Icon4 Rare 2nd Gen, But how rare? 4 Door Honda Civic (Sedan) 83'

1983 Honda Civic Sedan 4 door
Hey guys!
Long story short, I picked up this car from my sister. (it's been my daily driver for 11 months now) It was sitting for 3 years and needed a new alternator and battery and she turned over and drove her 70 miles home.
its got 238K Miles, and the body is in decent condition. Interior is decent but could use new seats.
The first thing I've noticed with this car is finding small parts is a challenge/impossible, Like the headlight door trim. For example, I can find the Driver side headlight door all over the internet, but have spent 11 months looking for the right side with no luck.
The car runs like a sewing machine, even at 238K miles the car is solid, Turn key, I never have to worry about it leaving me stranded. I do leak oil like any other old car, but its not excessive.
Now I really want to know if I can find out exactly how many of the 4 doors were produced, and what the value of my car might be.

Hey, it seems to me that there were many of those in Colorado in the 90's and early 00's. I would assume "Blakes Small Car salvage" (303) 665-4312 ·can help you out

Like most cars, 4 door sedans are the least valuable even though they are more utilitarian than are hatchbacks. I do have a couple of suggestions as I drive an '82 hatch automatic regularly.

1. Right side headlight doors are next to extinct. Set up a search on ebay and eventually one might pop up. keep you eye out for such in the many boneyards on the west coast.

2. If the car is an automatic, switch to Valvoline synthetic Dex/Merc and your car will love you.

Good luck with your "treasure!"
