my A/C clutch wont engage all of a sudden, worked fine 2 days ago nice and cold. Lights and fans run when turned on but clutch wont engage and now there is a noise coming from my engine. Could this be the clutch assembly gone bad? I did replace the clutch relay but no joy!

 

clutch is prolly out. unplug it.
jump it while motor is running..see if it engages. if no...clutch is junk
