2002 Civic EX Trunk Light

I replaced the trunk light bulb today and still no light. Is there a switch somewhere in the trunk to activate the light? Can't seem to find one.

The switch for the trunk light is part of the trunk latch.

Why would that be?

That is how a lot of cars are set up. It is not a Honda only thing.

Fuse #3 (7.5A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box protects the trunk light (also the dome light, map lights and ignition lights). I would think you'd notice if the dome light is not working though.
