I turned mine up to level 16 once while on the freeway with the windows down. Was too loud and went back to 14.

Pretty intense

I’m not into car audio and rarely ever turn it up. Mostly just trying to make a joke I don’t care about car audio at all :/

Wow nice, you replaced the head unit? What model do you have if you don't mind me asking?

I' still using the factory head unit. It' pretty great. Added lc8i on the high levels in to get proper rca out to the 3 amps.

Well I replaced the factory speakers with Focal Integration Universal ISS 6.5 components up front and Focal Integration Universal ISC 6.5 2 ways in the rear. They are still breaking in but what a nice difference in sound quality! All the subtleties that were missing from the music i listen to are now there. crisp highs and good midrange and even some bass. The sub woofer in this car is a joke! just as bad as my 14 CRV! Adding an amp and a proper sub woofer will be next!

2017 Civic LX sedan - manual... I added a 12 inch Rockford Fosgate Punch P3 with amp, it sounds great with the stock head unit. The box is small enough to still utilize my trunk. I don't want to change out the head unit quite yet, but will eventually wind up with a double din touch screen of some sort.

Side note: my rear deck rattles pretty bad, I will address that when I get a chance to look at it.

Old topic,

I just picked up Audio Control Lc2i, JL 500/1 amp, JL 10w0v3.

I have a 2016 Touring so it has the 10 Speaker system (which I find to be horrible). The stock system turns down the bass when you turn the volume up to protect the stock speakers. This results in basically no bass.

I will be using the lc2i to fix this issue. Hoping I wont have to replace the stock door speakers and tweeters.
