Default Still have Clunking noise after replacing front suspension!

Hey all, first time poster but Blog is an amazing resource so haven't had the need to post but NOW at my wits end.

Situation is on a 2007 Honda Accord LX V6 w/ 150k miles and continuous clunking over every little bump, mostly from Front Drivers side to the front middle. I know its hard to describe by writing about it but You tube has the sound but they sound the same, from Bad Struts, Engine Mounts and Sway Bars. Hence me hitting them all as they were old and worn anyway.

Bottomline, I've put a lot CITY wear and tear over the past year so tough conditions with tons of potholes, cracks in road and even cobblestone. I replaced and check everything possible including trying to duplicate the sound while on ground and lifted in air . If anyone has any ideas or advice, I am willing to try anything so please let me know.

Replaced Front on both sides:
1-Struts
2-Lower Control Arms
3-Upper Control Arms
4-Inner Tie Rods
5-Outer Tie Rods
6-Front Sway Bar Links
7-Lower Ball Joints
8-Sway Bar Bushings (was a B+TCH to change these on this model cause of lowering sub frame)
9- ALL 6 Engine Mounts - 3 Motor 3 Trans

Also Replaced Rear Strut Assembly and both Sway Bar Links.

PS- This site.helped.with most.of the above. Only thing I havent done was Front Bearings but dont feel loose.by shaking tires while off ground.

the compliance bushing in the lower control arm on these CL9's typically are the first to go, rip and tear. you say you changed out the lower control arms, did you take another look at that bushing, furthest to the front.

it could also be your steering rack. either internal or external bushing. and/or steering column sloppiness. check pinch bolts and ujoints are tight.

Thanks for your advice. Since posting I noriced a slight tear in the front bushing on the BRAND NEW Moog Lower control arm. So returned and replaced it AGAIN and of course still the clunking noise. So what caused that to bushing to rip a little? Def not familiar.with a Rack and I repaced everything else BUT the Rack. Would.a bad Rack cause.the.noise and rip that.front.buahing? Other bushings were fine in lower control arm.

Its crazy cause the ckunking noise happens over the slightest bump.

Last, I also Torqued everything to spec.

Aftermarket bushings are junk. That's likely why your moog bushing was torn. Depending on which bushing is torn...it could also be because you didn't clock them. You cant tighten the two rearward LCA bushings while the car is up in the air. Because when you set the car down, they will tear pretty shortly after.

**Edit: your front bushing was torn. Its because aftermarket bushings are terrible overall. And could also be because its a compliance bushing and maybe it just had a little hairline in it. No biggie.

Your clunking could be a lot of things.

Is the clunk the same as before? Or did it change in some way after you did all this work?
