Low Beams don't work - High beams do - 02 Civic LX
So the low beams don't work but I can use the high beams. Checked fuses, replaced bulbs and still no go....so did a little research and then replaced the multi-switch. Still no go...Any ideas on what else this could be? Thanks a bunch
Cause may be due to the multiplex control unit (mcu) not sending ground (-) to the headlights. The mcu is built into the under-dash fuse box.
First test for power (+) at the headlight bulb connectors. With the headlight switch turned on, check for power (+) at the Red/Yel wire terminal on the left headlight bulb connector. Also check for power (+) at the Red wire terminal on the right headlight bulb connector. -- If there is power at those wires, the issue is that there is no ground (-) source being sent to the connectors; which may be due to a faulty mcu or wiring issue.

Hi everyone, I am new here and I hope I can help a little, I had the same problem as you in my civic 01, change fuse check lights and everything was ok, the problem, I am almost sure it is the directional lever connector, disassemble the cover of the steering wheel and disconnects the lever I am almost sure that part is burned. Sorry for my bad english hope my replay can help you.
