I already had a recall for just the passenger side replacement...I asked the service adviser why they didn't also replace the driver's side and he said it may have been a different brand of airbag...can I trust that?

 

Why not? It wasn't part of the recall.

 

My wife's '09 Fit had just the passenger airbag replaced under the recall as well. No mention of the drivers bag, most likely as listed above, the driver's side is a different manufacture or not affected as the passenger bag is.

My 2010 FA5 is not affected by the recall.
