Default 2001 civic oil pump install help.

I've seen multiple videos on timing belt, water pump and
tensioner pulley tensioner pulley
replacement. But none of them show oil pump removal and install. Does anyone have a video or link to one that shows the procedure for how this is to be done? I know I could buy a Chilton or Haynes repair manual but I'm also a visual learner, and it would be most beneficial. Thanks

Why are you replacing the oil pump?

I'm not replacing it, but I am replacing the o-ring behind the pump that is the possible culprit to my oil leak, which is the source 90% of the time coming from behind the timing chain cover. As I do this I'm also replacing everything behind the timing chain covers with a kit. I believe I need to take my exhaust down which runs under the back of the pan. Also the dust shield and transmission bracket (not sure about that). But I just feel better to see someone doing it. Like I said I'm a visual learner as well. Thanks.

I understand where you're coming from. I wish I could be of more help, but here are a couple pages out of the FSM. I hope they're beneficial. Best of luck.
