1995 honda accord spark plug well and rocker arm seals
i have an EXTREME! oil leak in spark plug wells. i would say those seals are old and cracked. i have found a replacement for these seals in a valve cover gasket set but i am not to sure about the rocker arm seals. it is to my understanding that there are an upper and lower seal for the spark plugs. the upper seal going out results in oil in the spark plug wells and the lower seal (under rocker arm mounting bolts) results in fouling the plugs. i am having a hard time starting the car but once it starts it will fire right up after that. fuel pressure has been determined to be ok and there is no light on the dash. i think the lower seals are fouling out the plugs and causing them to not fire properly.
will be doing all the work myself as well. any insight would be appreciated.
EDIT:
this is the engine in my car. it looks identical -
also, is there any way possible to reset the ecu/pcm? thanks
