Default 2004 Honda pilot starts then dies 2 seconds later

I have a 2004 Honda pilot. Last week I needed a jump for my battery. Yesterday while on lunch break my car randomly started, rumbled, then died two seconds later. Immediately after, the battery light came on. So I went and got a new battery since I had never replaced the battery before. Started it, and the same thing. the car starts, engine turns over for two seconds, then it dies. I'm not sure what's going on

The indicator with the battery is actually the charging system indicator. Get the alternator and cables checked.
