Default 2010 CRV Brake rear lights issue

Ok! Went to gat my car inspected and it failed due to my side rear brake lights. They do not turn on when pressing brakes, hatch light works. Checked bulbs they work, fuses fine, horn works, brake switch tested not the issue. Please help, can't renew registration until my car will pass inspection.

Did you actually check the bulbs by removing them and visually inspecting them?

The left and right bulbs are dual filament; one filament for the taillights and another for the brake lights. Turning on the headlight or parking lights will turn on the taillights. Just because that may light up, does not mean the other respective filament for the brake lights are okay.
