what makes a jdm engine come out higher in emissions?

wouldn't it be the same as a usdm engine with 11.1 compression?

just curious

 

They are the same emission wise

 

i tested an jdm h22a couple week ago in a civic every thing works out fine exept for IAT sensor it was throwing out code 10 but overall the car pass smog sniffter test only visual no.

jdm motor have higher compression ratio than usdm but that doesnt matter it will still pass smog but not on a hybrid civic......I know a way to pass jdm motor in a civic with a state ref approval and i don't accept bribe and i garantee it will pass smog.

Why is a civic any different then say an accord or integra when it comes to passing?

 

all car have different smog refference even same car but different year

 

Please elaborate, your being very evasive as to your reasoning
