WTB: EG SI/EX hatch (Canada, shell OK)
This is a feeler sort of, as I know I'll probaby be looking for the right car for a while.
Looking for an EG SI/EX/SIR with moonroof.
When I bought my current hatch, it was deliberately not great body wise as I was planning to build a rally car, the fact it has no airbags, no power windows or locks, no power steering and no adjustable steering were all bonuses.
I want to build a nice street daily occasional track car. But I want all the nice features. I don't care about airbags, may delete them, I don't know, I don't like the airbag steering wheel. But I do want a moon roof, power windows, power locks, power seats (I know I know..), etc..so so want an SI or EX ..
I would prefer a Candian car, but for the right one I wouldn't be too picky I guess. Cluster swap isn't too hard.
Lower miles/kms is better but to me it's just a number, the car will get restored.
My biggest thing, no body rust and preferred no repaired rust. No big dents or major accidents, etc.
Decent interior would be nice, but meh.
I don't care at all whether it has an engine or transmission - I wouldn't turn down a nice combo (not really into a D) in the right car but I'm primarily looking for a shell. I don't care about suspension, although I wouldn't complain if it already has all new bushings etc.
Not picky on color.
I'd be happy with just a rolling chassis..if there's a nice running b or k, maybe I'll leave that in there but I plan on swapping in one of the B's I have kicking around.
