Default 2002 Honda Civic Constant Misfire

Hey Good evening gents! Hope this is being posted in the right place. So, I have a bit of a weird problem (to me), hoping someone could shed some light?!
Bought a 2002 Honda Civic 1.7l SOHC a little while ago. 251,xxx kms. Car ran fine, had a slight issue at first (would blow cold air whenver I came to a stop, but perfectly fine when driving, replaced thermostat and good to go, no water in oil, no white smoke, hoping it's not the HGs). Anyways, I was leaving work the other day when suddenly I noticed my CEL was flashing. It had been idling perfectly fine when I got into the car, didn't notice a thing, drove about 0.2 miles and it started. drove the car home like that, and whenever I came to a stop it idled suuper rough. I figured maybe it was a coil, so I unplugged each coil individually. When I would un-plug the coil furthest to the left (standing in front of the car facing it), the idle would stay the same(rough), but when I unplugged all the others, it idled waaay rougher, almost dying. I went out, bought a new coil, bought new spark plugs, and tried it again, same issues. Unplugging that particular coil causes no change in idle.So my question is, does that sound like timing belt jumped? It seems to run fine past 1500 rpms. Even if Im in neutral and i rev it up past 1500, the rough idle goes away. (on a side note, I drive gravel to and from work, and I have no plastic wheel well covers, exposing my engine. any chance gravel could've damaged any wiring).

yes, sounds like that cylinder is dead, compression test it to confirm
