03 Honda CR-V not starting after ECU change
My 2003 Honda CR-V engine had blown, so I replaced the crv’s k24a1 with the accord K24A4 engine. The swap was pretty simple it started and drove fine. My tps sensor was bad so I changed it, a friend unplugged it and plugged it back in while the car was started which somehow shorted out the ecu. I figured I’d put the accord’s ecu in it since it an accord engine but now it still won’t start. I reprogrammed it, and still it cranks but won’t start. I also have lots of transmission codes camshaft codes tps and map sensor codes coming up. I need help!!
Afaik, you need to move over everything from the engine.
You can not hook up sensors and stuff from the CRV engine onto the Accord engine even though they are essential the same engine.
Have you swapped over everything from the Accord? ECU, Key, Ignition and the rest so that it is not the start block that is clicking in?
