Default Rattle in low rpm <1000rpm

Hey guys, first post so go easy on me
so ive got a 98 dc4 ls with a 2000 b18c5 and ls tranny.
For about a month now ive been hearing a loud rattle, just loud enough to be noticeable. Pretty sure its not the throwout bearing as its completely unaffected by clutch engagement and being in gear or neutral. As long as its below 1000rpm (on a warm idle or taking off in 1st, even cruising in 2nd at really low rpm) it rattles quite a bit. Sounds like its coming from behind and below the centre console. Not exhaust checked already.
i appreciate any help, thanks in advance guys

Maybe motor mounts? More specifically the bottom rear mount?

Agree ^^ Lower RPMs, you're going to hear the most cabin rattle especially at idle. You're almost definitely not hearing anything mechanical, just old plastic clips/retainers and panels that are rattling. Why you're just hearing it now? maybe over time somethings started to come loose, maybe your mounts are wearing out? If you're not running stock motor mounts, then I'd recommend to switch back. That would most likely cure the noise for the time being.
