DAD/HUSBAND IN SERIOUS NEED OF ASSIST 99 accord ex 4 cyl. Suspenion help please.
SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY PLEASE
i will add more details if i find parties actually interested in assisting . i own a 99 honda accord ex 4 cylinder sedan. I am noticing that the rear tires are closer the wheel wells than usual. Also i notice that i feel bumps alot more while driving .Also see that my front tires especially front passenger side are wearing on the inside fast.
i realize that there could be multiple problems .I am a rookie mechanic at best but i am extremely eager to learn more .Reason being i cannot afford expensive mechanic bills. Not because i dont wanna pay but simply am too poor . Bottom line : i have to fix this so i can keep providing what i can for my wife and 3 yr old son. So please help me troubleshoot my suspension and/or other car problems. Thank u

Too start the alignment is 100% off but there is alot of things that play into it being out of spec, for starters i would raise the vehicle up and place it on jacks stands then check for play in the front and rear suspension as well do a visual inspection of bushings and see if they are cracked, missing, torn. The issue of you feeling bumps while driving can be related to bad struts, sway bar endlinks, bushings. Very difficult to diagnose over the computer. A job like this will require experience and good diagnosis and knowledge of suspension systems.
Are the rear springs broken? HPPMike makes some great suggestions. Get the car up in the air and check for any abnormal amounts of play, or worn/broken bushings
