Ok when my 96 gsr is a full operating temp and I'm at a stop or slowing down sometimes .The car acts like it's loosing charge and will either light will go dark or turn off but if I'm driving temp drops down and it's fine like it never happened i have checked the cables right after and they seem a little too hot I can't figure out the issue and during winter time it never didn't since the motor never heated up all the way I'm Stuck with no solution if any one can help please

 

wild *** guess sounds like alternator.
i put in new brush assembly and works great.
