Default 2008 Honda Civic Suspension replacement

I have a 2008 4 door Honda Civic LX and I wanted to upgrade from the OEM. Does anybody have any suggestions where I will be able to have an upgrade from OEM. I found at KONI and Tein Basis as a choice for daily driving.

You want to upgrade what? Springs? Shocks? Full coil over? Ball joints/bushings/camber kits/etc...?

What I wanted to do is replace my OEM shocks and struts with a step above. I use it as a daily driver and since I need to replace my shocks and struts, I was thinking that I upgrade it a little bit. I know KYB is an OEM replacement for the Honda Civic. I have been active on Honda-tech for years because I stopped doing my build. I apologize if I sound like a noob.

How much lower than stock do you want this to be?

Koni Yellows are only available as cartridges. So...terrible idea unless you know how to install cartridges properly. Don't plan on lowering the car more than like 1" or so.

Koni STRTs are decent shocks for use with lowering springs that barely lower the car -- eibach pro kit for example.

Tein, hands down has the best corrosion resistance, if that is a factor. Skip the Street Basis. The Street Advance is only a few bucks more and its a really nice setup overall. You can lower moderately.

Bilstein PSS or PSS9 are fantastic in terms of ride quality....as long as you only lower the car minimally. But...the shocks are zinc plated. So they'll rust if used in road salt.

BC Racing coilovers are nice, if its in your budget and you are looking to set up the ride height/preload/dampening/etc per wheel independently.
BC coil overs can be ordered in any spring rate you choose, so they can be configured for a nice DD ride as well.
