looking for a commute mobile. want either an Accord or Civic used

gaterhing info on complaints and issues.

I want a 4 cylinder for either car.

so it seems for the budget as far as reliatbilty goes, am I better off getting an older Accord, or a newer post 2006(with timing chain NOT belt Civic) for the same money?

I'd like a Civic for the mpg but it seems some are plaqued with issues, ike cracked blocks, trans problems, etc so maybe Accord is better in the long run.

Thoughts?

Fred

also not underastnading 2 posts, is this my 2nd post, what to start a thread.. ASAP
