Check out these quarter mile times....
I was just visiting a personal website of someone with Dodge Neon. Engine is a 2.0L SOHC 4 cylinder.
Manual Trasmission.
These are the mods he has done:
Iceman w/K&N
52mm throttle body
Gude stainless header
Flowthrough 30" glasspack
MSD Magnecor 8.5mm wires
Mopar Performance PCM
Prothane FMM insert
Mopar Perf. bobble strut with polyurethane bushing
TTI Race UdP,
3.94 tranny swap with .72 5th (had a 3.55)
Fidanza Aluminum flywheel
welded differential shaft
Phantom Grip clone
Borg-Warner clutch and throw-out bearing
Stage II drag axles
Rage shifter bushings
Shortened stock shifter rod (2.25")
Mopar high-rate springs-front
Mopar extra high-rate springs-rear
Prothane suspension bushing kit
Nitto drag radials mounted on 14" stock steelies (strip only)
Quarter mile time currently is: 15.099 @ 89.27
With I/H, ECU, different Transmission, new flywheel, stiffer springs, drag radials, and new clutch... doesn't that seem a little slow?
I mean he's still in the 15's , which could maybe be because he's not that good of a driver? ( i'm ready for someone to say.... CUZ ITS A NEON!! ) hahaha
