91 DX b18c Type r swap

So I'm doing a b18c type r swap on my 91 civic.. Would I be able to use the original throttle cable or would I have to change it to something else?

You should be able to retain your stock throttle cable but may have to use the ITR throttle cable bracket.

I'm not certain Becasue a friend tells me no but he isnt fully sure. So I want to find out for sure..
