1997 Honda Accord 4-door Special Edition. How do I fix the odometer?

 

For a replacement? There are services online to send it , and have the value changed. What is meant by fixed?

A straight gauge cluster swap. If 97 has the immobilizer in it you might not be able to swap out the cluster so easily.

Trying to remember when I did the cluster. I replaced the cluster in my 01 Accord and it HAS the immobilizer. I do not remember a problem.

 

The odometer is mechanical, insert your key into the maintenance reset slot several times and see if that fixes it.

 

The odometer usually gets stuck and sometimes toy have to trigger the maint slot while snapping on the trip push button. Mine periodically gets jammed on my 95 wagon. I just need to remove the maintanence feature all together. It's just snapped in there and serves no real feature
