Default Hey everyone - 1990 Civic Hatch

Hey everyone,

My name's Kyle, I started out with Honda's about a year and a half ago when I picked up a 1990 civic hatch with 130000 kilometers, or 80000 miles. I picked it up for $2500, as a cheap, easy to work on, daily driver.
Shortly afterward I absolutely fell in love with and hope to build it next year with a turbo B-series motor and about 400 whp.

You could check out HunterTuned on Youtube. He mostly does work with B-Series motors.

Although, I would have to say one thing for sure, check your clearances.

*You should probably get another vehicle before modding the hatch.

Thank you! I definetely will.

What clearances are you talking about?

Oh for sure. I live in Edmonton, Alberta so I need a better vehicle for winter anyways.

Maybe I'm just too a*** about it, but once you start the actual process of putting a rebuilt block together, check your Rods and Main bearing clearances.

Oh I understand now. The actual engine rebuilding is well beyond my skill set so I'm going to have that done proffesionally, thanks though.
