Hey guys.
So the CEL light isn' coming on when the ignition is first turned on and the ECU has 3 known codes in it and the light does not show the presents of the codes.
So I'm trying to find a 04 pin out wish funtions for the cluster to check the input to that circuit so I can see if the signal is making it to the connector.

Betcha someone busted the bulb on purpose, unless your the only owner it had

 

Haha! Close. So I ended up pulling the cluster apart and found paper towel stuffed into the hole for the CEL LED. If the guy I bought it from lived near me I would leave a burning bag of dog shi* on his door step.

 

holey **** thats greasey. Youll check for the cel on every car you look at for the rest of your life now.

I had a 2002 Acura tl type s. Engine light was wired to the srs light so it would come on with the key but wouldnt show when a code came up. Super greasey. The guy who sold me that car is in jail now after his mechanic got hurt in his unlicensed shop.
