Default 2006 Ridgeline J35A9

I have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline with a seized J35A9. I was wondering if someone could tell me if any of the other J35 series engines will bolt in and work and what is the most reliable choice. I found a J35A6 in a 2008 Odyssey high mileage but runs good was wondering if will work.
Thanks

I believe the major differences are contained to the intake manifold and throttle body assembly, as well as the exhaust manifold and exhaust components. I'm surprised you had issues with the J35 at all, as its been a rather strong option for Honda for quite a few years. However, you should be able to run the 08 Odyssey engine if you swap over the intake manifold/throttle body from the Ridgeline, and re-use your stock exhaust manifolds.
