ACCORD EX 4 CLY 2000 2.3L 2254CC L4 :

I've tried forum and internet search and a challenge to find much and definatively if they are they are exactly the same part. Wanting to make a purchase for a valve cover gasket. I've ran across either or both part numbers below, sometimes one is a set, other times it's just a gasket alone with either part number 12341-P0A-000 or 12030-P0A-000. Prices vary quite a bit, depending on the part # for the set.

Any 100% conclusion? Thanks

Honda Part No.12030-P0A-000 is the set, which includes the following:

• Headcover gasket (Honda part no. 12341-P0A-000)
• Spark plug tube seals (Honda Part No.: 12342-P2F-A01)
• Head cover washers (Honda Part No.: 90442-P0A-000)

If you only want the head cover gasket by itself, then order Honda part no. 12341-P0A-000.

 

the net is confusing about this but what I am seeing is that the 12030-P0A-000 is generally the set whereas the 12341-P0A-000 is the gasket only. But, some internet vendors would indicate the latter as a set as it includes the gasket 12341-P0A-000 as well as part numbers for the spark plug tubes and washers.
